Lightbulb  Review of the LED 1157 replacement.
Well... I got my 1157 replacement today. Im kinda disapointed with the brake light brightness the running light is bright as sin but when you pull in a lever or brake pedal it barely gets any brighter. its noticable but ***sigh*** its sucky lol

the number 2 pic is with the hand brake pulled in... can you even notice? and those shots were taken in my grage with the lights off. yeah horible lol

BUT!...you guys seem like electrical brainacs so heres a question... can i limit the running light voltage and keep the brake light volts? maybe make the running light a bit dimmer so theres more of a noticable change when i brake. ANY help is very welcome!!!!!

Have you considered switching the 2 wires so the current running light becomes the brake?

I think if I did that then the running light would be bright then as soon I'd I'd press the brakes then it would get dimmer

Yeah its definitely better. I bet my acctual assembly the bulb is housed in has something to do with it too... all it is, is a project box from radio shack with aluminum speed tape around the walls as the reflector part lol
