Re-Purposing Old 1300 Stock Handlebars
Always being environmentally mindful, I try to find ways to re-use or re-purpose unwanted or discarded items.
For my challenge today, I happen to have in my possession a set of stock 1300 handlebars, you know, that same stock set that NObody seems to like.
They are too wide with zip for pullback. They give riders backaches, make us lean forward way too much in a punishing posture, with the exception of @Gibbo of course, who stands like 5 ft 17 inches tall.
So I was thinking about what I could do with my very much unwanted stock handlebars. How many uses could I come up with on short notice for re-purposing them?
Horribly uncomfortable armrest.
Holder for my new Paleo cookbooks!
Doorstop with its own trip hazard.
Dryer for just washed shoes.
Poorly designed ergonomic footrest.
I need better ideas.
Here's another one. That special tool to reach things on the high shelf in the laundry room.

@jmck I'm not so sure about the space, as I have tried to tag a number of people and sometimes it will work and others it won't, I agree with @Agspace it's Botery!!! Or it could be F.R.E.D. (Flaming Ridiculous Electronic Devices).
I like the idea of using the old handlebars as a boot drying rack - good thinking 99!
