unstable bugger isn't it the cracnk case hangs lower than the frame rails.
here is one solution

remember allways tie down your bike when it is on a jack

Defo good guide. I have the same lift. It's annoying to get the bike on it.

I made this video a while back on how to jack up and secure a motorcycle to a Harbor Freight Jack. The bike in the video is a Suzuki Boulevard 800. But I have used the modifications to the jack for the V-Star 1100 shown in the pictures. Works great.
