I ride a 2006 V-Star 650. It was a gift from my boss last year. I love it. I rode it yesterday, temps were in the low 40's, but no snow on the road and in my drive, so I ride. I ride year round, that's why my old bike, Frankenbike, has over 103,000 miles on him. I'm giving him to my youngest daughter this year when she turns 18, and it'll be a trustworthy ride for her.

Picked up an 04 1100 custom with 26,000kms on it in oct2015. Only riding I've done on it yet is the day I picked it up and Christmas day! Pic is of how it was when I picked it up. Doing a few things to it in the mean time!

Happy 4th all , I ride a 2010 v star 1300 Tourer , I have installed a Cobra FI PowerPro Tuner , Cobra PowerFlo Intake & the Cobra PowerPro 2 into 1 Exhaust . I am thinking about putting on a Batwing fairing with a stereo soon as i can decide which one that that will give me the most bang for the buck ,and without to much trouble to install . I will send pictures soon .

That is slick. Wow.

What are those bars DragonStar, with the highway pegs mounted to them? That is a tight and clean setup. I have a 2010 v star 950, and am jealous of that bike you have there.

long pipes and low, gotta be careful backing up and curbs. almost had a royal couple years ago, wonder how she compares to stratoliner, think yours if water cooled which can be good in hotter temps for sure cause I sure feel then heat coming off the engine big time when over 90 then over 100 my legs are getting toasted.
2006 VStar Stratoliner, Freedom Performance split dual exhaust, Mustang seats, Sissy bar with back rack, bolted saddlebags to mounts.

Bought my first bike in almost 20 years last November - a 2000 1100 Classic with 16,000 miles on it. All stock with a Switchblade windshield, saddle bags and passenger backrest added. If it had studded seats it would look like a Silverado. Did a lot of research before buying and the V Star reputation for being bulletproof convinced me this was the one to get. I live in Canada so I only managed to get about 100 miles on before the snow hit but it sure felt great to be back on 2 wheels again. Can't wait for spring.
