RE: Interested in knowing what VStar you ride...
Hello all. I just started riding again after over 30 years. I rode a '73 Norton 850 Dunstall Super Commando while in service in Europe . Took it home, got stolen, got married, had kids, bought house no money.
I bought a 2012 Yamaha 1300 V-star Tourer and have only put on 300 miles, I love the bike. Heavy, good response, comfortable, looks good. Just taking my time in slow tight cornering, seems a bit different than what my Norton was. LOL
2012 1300 T Highway Bars, Passing Lights, Passenger Floor Boards, K&N Filter, LED Brake light module, Power Point, Ram Mount GPS, Mustang Vintage Seats, Luggage Rack, Bucks Lowers, Screaming Banshee Horn, LED Fogs, Volt Gauge, Saddle Bag Guards, Radiator Cover, Boss Bags trunk, Kurykin Longhorn pegs

RE: Interested in knowing what VStar you ride...
12/08 XVS 1300 purchased untouched by human hands or kangaroo paws in May '10. Rode Kwaka 1500s before this one followed me home. Best handling big bike I've ridden always manage to scrap the floorboard stops, very comfortable so much so my pillion passengers go to sleep on long trips!

Finally got a photo up into the Gallery at least.

Dealer fitted OEM screen, panniers, I've added the Cobra luggage rack and back rest changed the original pad to one I made, fitted a Bibble Bar (Aus.) rider's back rest, Kuryarkin ISO Flame grips, 5W LED DRLs, Extra LED stop lights, drilled exhaust, drilled air box, Jack's O2 Sensor Mod. my own handmade lowers. carpeted inside the panniers (to stop things from wearing out from sliding around) and I am about to change them from opening out to the side to opening forward. Relocated the crankcase breather from the air box to behind the false salad bowl on the LHS and fitted a small breather/filter - keeps any oil fumes away from the air filter.
