Hi Danielle,

Very nice bike to start off with. Looks in pretty good condition also.

For me, I started (still with) an 05 Vstar 1100 midnight custom with 14000 Kms on it, and paid $4000 (Cdn) for it. It was too good a deal to pass up, but I was quite nervous at the beginning because it was a bit of a big bike (in my opinion) to start out with and I also was recovering from a bad injury at that time. I did become comfortable with it after a season though. The VStar is a very reliable bike.

Being able to start off with a reliable bike for under $2k.. great idea and I am sure you will get a lot of enjoyment out of it. If and when you are ready to upgrade, it should not be too difficult to sell that bike and move to something bigger - or you might just want to keep that one. Many on the forum here are very happy with their 650.

I was going to say they're just stock mirrors...nothing wrong with them...I've still got my stock mirrors.

Then I noticed that left one. Some goof has turned the mounting base where it's pointing almost straight forward then angled the mirror off at a weird angle. Just turn the mounting bass so the "knuckle" points outward and it will probably be fine.

and you could angle the mirrors towards the helmet and you'd get like a 360º view. view distance might be degraded though

lol im just giving you a hard time. i think the helmet is pretty cool

I was behind one of those helmets today on the freeway. with the sun behind us I decided those need to be outlawed. got a nasty reflection off it while we were splitting lanes.

Im a lil disappointed i didnt get the vstar but in the end distance was a pain in the butt lol. The marauder is in good condition sounds nice, came with brand new tires, chain, and sprocket, has about 25000 miles on it. Only thing im not crazy for is the paint job. lol ;) gunna try to fallow in miss @kimsnot 's foot steps and try to repaint her myself
