Passing lamps
I have a 2012 R* and am trying to adjust my passing lamps. I've been told I need to remove the bulb to get inside to adjust them but how do I get the trim ring off? I can't get a screwdriver in there and I even tried a ratchet with a bit and I still can't get on the screw. I tried taking the turn signal off but don't want to pull it to hard and break the wires off. Is there a special tool or trick to get to it? Thanks for any help.

RE: Passing lamps
is it a factory set up bar? possibly a close up pic of the bar and one side?

found this also on adjusting.

Yes it's a factory bar. I bought an angled screw driver that looks like a z and was able to get to the screw on the bottom. I straightened the bulbs and they seem better now, need to check at night.

Kept having trouble with them turning out of adjustment and took it back to the dealer. They replaced the bulbs with newer h3 buckets. Much brighter and they don't move now.
