Help with windshield install
Bought a Memphis Shades Speed Demon windshield for my vstar 1100. The mounting instructions say that the cable routing bracket may need to be bent to get the top mount to fit. My routing bracket needs to be removed or pushed as far to the side as possible to get the top mount to fit. the cable routing bracket is held onto the bottom of the top triple tree by a 19mm nut that attaches to a bolt coming through the top of the triple tree. Are these a bolt/nut combo that requires a torque wrench? I've messed with this for 2 days and am about to give up on the windshield. Any suggestions for getting the cable routing bracket removed?
