passing lamps 35 vs 60 w
anyone go to brighter sealed beam than the stock 35watt i'm not talking the expensive hid-leds

I went with inexpensive LED lights, they were complete assemblies not ones that fit into the stock passing lights though. $30 for the pair and they are BRIGHT! Combined with an LED bulb in the stock headlight housing I have about 6 times the light I had with the original headlight, the difference is amazing.
There is a replacement LED bulb for the replaceable halogen lamped passing lights that's affordable, I can't remember the designation, but I don't know about the sealed beams..look around, they probably exist. New LEDs come out every day..they are the future.
I assume the expensive one you refer to are the daymakers, a friend has the set of 3 on his Harley and they are great lights, but definitely NOT cheap.
