I had Dunlap 404 ,maybe around 8000 miles on them, had to replace the rear put on dunlap 555, I don't care for it on wet roads, have to replace it now.. about the same mileage.. I put a command 2 on the front, after about 100 the slickness wore off.. amazing difference, was looking forward to replacing the rear tire, should be here tomorrow.. Looking forward to it. more money but they say you get at least double life but even if it doesn't the ride is worth it!

V Star 1100 tire recommendation
I just put on Shinkos the other day - too early to report on how they are.
777 on the back and Tourmaster on the front - to keep the stupid 110 R18 original size on the front.

I am really liking the Metz tyres I have on my '01 1100, even out here in the desert of SoCal, temps in the 80's,90's and 100's in the summer and they are performing great. I recommend that you look at getting yhem from Motorcycle Superstore, they have free shipping over $89 and a great Rider Reward program. Usually ship within 1 to 2 days. Great customer service too

measure between the forks and then get a tire with an aspect ratio just a bit less
