starter clutch
hello all, i have a v star 07 1100 i'm hearing a bang out of the left lower cover while starting then it stops trying to start but does start the next time i crank it with no problems however it's not every time i start it. from what i have read it's most likely the starter clutch. question is if i don't replace it now will it cause major damage if it totally goes out? as always thx for your replies!
