CARB ISSUES?
MORE CARB PROBLEMS??? To start I've had my 07 v star 1100 for 2 years love the ride but....... I put new pipes on it last year re-jetted etc. It's been a problem ever since carbs have all new seals, jets set, balanced, tps is correct timing etc etc etc . I have to give it slight throttle to start and after riding it cranks really slow etc but will start after 2 or 3 attempts. The battery is good I cant find any electrical problems so.... should I just light it up???? NO...I'm thinking about sending the carbs to Metric Magic to have them rebuilt do any of you have any opinions about that company as this bike is begging me to ride but I just don't trust it. Thx for any input on this!

RE: CARB ISSUES?
https://sites.google.com/site/vstar1100k...st-do-list do not give it throttle when startingyou can wreck the starter clutch. sometimes the idle is to low it should be 950 to 1050. when starting hold the start button down for ten to fifteen seconds until it starts and repeat do not stab or short attempts. it will kickback and wear the starter clutch. metric magic can do the setup for you but he can be difficult sometimes hes slow and you should be on your best behavior. https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=...PU-GAbNVZQ try this guy hear hes pretty good

Thx for the info Nick and the recommendation. I've been through the K.B. many times that's how I got a lot of the information on the bike, carbs etc. All this started after I had a local bike shop jet the carbs they went out of business shortly after that. So off they come and into a box they go! Thx again and Happy Holidays!
