Bullet_star  Hot/Warm Weather and VStar Oil
Hey Guys,

How bout a touch of assistance, please. I'm running a '01 XVS1100 with about 43K on it. I use Rotella T6 10w40 in it and the weather here in the SoCal desert is already starting to get warm ( 85 to 95 degrees). Bikes runs and shifts great for the first 20 miles or so, generally around 65 MPH. Then afterwards, it seems like the darn thing starts shifting harder and harder, won't go to neutral very well at all, even if I shut it off and try to shift it. Bikes runs and shifts good on the (cooler) trip home in the evening. Anyone ever have this issue(or similar prob) ??
Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance

in the summer i run 20 50. i think your clutch needs adjusting. start at the motor end of the cable first.

Any particular brand of oil you use or recommend? Drag Specialties? Lucas Oil? Red Giant? Amsoil?
