vstarr 1100 wont turn over
hi everyone i need help. i replaced my starter clutch , and when put back together it seems like the same is going on. like it doesnt have enough power to turn over the motor. Fuses are good, batt charged im at a loss.batt. cables were hot so maybe a regulator? would a bad regulator keep the engine from turning over?

RE: vstarr 1100 wont turn over
A regulator would not stop the motor from turning over. Check that the battery is fully charged, check all connections are tight to starter. check that the battery maintains 12 volts under load while trying to crank engine. Try jumping direct to starter from another good battery to see if it will crank. If it won't crank, see if the engine is free to turn over manually ? if it is not, that may be the problem.

Update on the bike? Did you find the problem, I'm having a similar issue.
