Worst V Star modifications
Man, I feel your pain...
The only good thing about been off is that gets you time to do stuff/projects that otherwise would never do.
Crossing fingers for you
Take care

Hey Sr,
You mind telling us what kind of switch you used for that mod?
I'm going to do exactly the same but I found out that there are 4 wires attached to that switch in the control box so now I'm confused
Thanks in advance

Update:
I think I figured out the high/low beam..all I need is a on-off-on switch..
Now the big question is how about the turn signals? What kind of switch here? There are 5 wires in to the stock switch.....

RE: Worst V Star modifications
You want a Single pole double throw switch ( SPDT)

https://www.google.com/search?q=single+p...330nRAM%3A

Were normally common flows to one way, lows, but then you flip it up then it gos towards the highbeams.

Purty inconspicuous.... right in reach and down is low beams and up his high beams

Looks great. Looks like you have the Two wires in the toggle for the high low from the control console. Do you have a ground going to the switch?

RE: Worst V Star modifications
Yup negative is on the switch. And are you talking about those exposed green and yellowish wires? Cause those are actually the wires from the brake light switch. Since the control boxes are gone those are the only wires that run up the bars... they're fed between the hose and the rubber sheath but are exposed at the neck

I'm planning to do exactly what @MrRCOM did with his low/high just waiting for the switch in the mail.
What I did with the brake & clutch wires ...I routed them inside the handlebars

Yeah now that I think about it a few of the wires were the same color.. like one is a yellow with red stripe? I dunno whatever lol

I don't have a lot of elecrical experience.... I think its a lot of multimeter usage and luck. Why?

Re: Worst V Star modifications
Well Oh because I saw this thread that used A dpdt rocker on-off-on to have two conditions make the passing lamps go on. On or off with triggering the switched on relay and if he would use his high beam switch the lamps would go on automatically. I'm planning on doing some of this in the future. The problem is his diagram doesn't really explain too well the layout of the back of the Dpdt Rocker switch terminals ToO Well... Of Course. That is why I asked

its a pain because I do like them, so fix em and keep em or just remove them, no more problem......
I saw one of these today on the way to work....I agree, don't look good during daylight hours...ehh not for me at least.
