RE: Technical Issues With Some Browsers
Mine does that about 25% of the time - doesn't seem to be any rhyme nor reason. Hitting refresh or just using the breadcrumbs to navigate up a level fixes it.

RE: Technical Issues With Some Browsers
@jason I am finding it harder and harder to tag members - granted they may not want to be tagged by me - but it becomes a little frustrating when you tag someone and then in another thread I reply or tag the same member and their tag will be inactive. Any clues?

@Gibbo if you are referring to MR RCOM because of the space in his user name tagging doesn't work

@jmck not him mate, other members, sometimes the tag goes live but more often than not it isn't, very frustrating when you've tagged someone who you had successfully tagged only minutes before, and they miss the tag because of it. It's happened to your callsign sometimes too.

RE: Technical Issues With Some Browsers
@Jason Help! Just about every time I try to post I get a page saying the following:

This page can't be displayed

  • Make sure the web address http://www.vstarforum.com is
    correct.
  • Look for the page with your search engine.
  • Refresh the page in a few minutes.
Fix connection problems
When I do anything after that I lose the whole post. I have resorted to saving all posts before I Post Reply and trying again. It does not happen with any other forums.

Technical Issues With Some Browsers
@commonground if your getting that message I think it has to do with your Internet unfortunately. I have checked with my host and there hasn't been any server issues or downtime. Try a different browser and see if that works. Try a different computer. Try it at work versus home.

@Gibbo sometimes it takes time for the tagging plugin to find and connect the dots. Sometimes it doesn't catch it at all. I reaches out to the developer of that specific plugin and it appears that there is nothing we can really do.
